This policy explains what data SnapEligibility.com collects, why, and how to opt out.

Information we collect

Calculator inputs

When you use the homepage quick-check calculator, your state, household size, and monthly income are processed entirely in your browser. None of these values are transmitted to our servers, stored in databases, or shared with third parties.

Analytics

We use two third-party analytics services to understand which pages are useful and where the site needs work:

• Google Analytics 4 — collects standard pageview data, device type, country, and aggregate behavior. We do not enable advertising features, demographics, or signals. Data flows to Google under their privacy policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous session heatmaps and click patterns. Email and form-input fields are auto-redacted before any data leaves your browser. Data flows to Microsoft under their privacy statement.

Analytics is on by default, and you can opt out at any time: click Cookie settings in the footer and switch Analytics off (or choose Reject analytics on the cookie notice). Your choice is saved in your browser and stops Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity from loading on later visits. You can also install a tracker-blocking extension (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) or enable your browser's Do-Not-Track signal, which we respect where browsers send it.

Cookies

The analytics services above set cookies. We do not set any first-party cookies of our own. If you opt out of analytics or decline cookies in your browser, the site continues to work normally — only the analytics are affected.

Email contacts

If you email us, we keep your message and reply solely to respond. We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not sell, share, or rent contact information.

Children

This site is intended for adult readers researching SNAP eligibility. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, email privacy@snapeligibility.com and we will delete it.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links to grocery delivery, prepaid debit, or tax-preparation services may be affiliate links. We earn a commission if you sign up via those links, at no cost to you. We only feature products that accept EBT or otherwise serve the SNAP-recipient audience well. Affiliate status never changes the editorial content of a page.

Changes to this policy

Material changes are dated below and noted in the site's release notes. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
